“Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth! Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised” – Psalm 96:1-4

The northern tribes of Yemen may be referred to as the Sanaani Arabs. They reside in the northern mountains and north-eastern deserts, as well as around the capital city of Sana’a. The growing of the narcotic qat has become the mainstay of rural Yemen, and some nearly half of the national economy is involved in qat.
Yemen is not easily accessible to outsiders, and not open to Christian testimony.
Christian television and radio provide effective means of access that transcends country boundaries.
Pray for the followers of Christ
Pray for the few believers among the Sanaani Arabs, that they would be united around the truth of Scripture, growing in holiness and love.
Pray for the entire people group
Pray for the northern tribes of Yemen, that they will increasingly hunger for the righteousness and forgiveness found only in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
As we gather as believers to worship this morning, may we do so joyfully. May we also worship with the burden of 7,009 unreached people groups branded on our hearts. This burden, however, is not heavy, it is light since we are empowered by the grace and might of Jesus Christ to accomplish Matthew 24:14 as we obey Matthew 28:19-20. Thank God we are not responsible for saving these blind and lost souls, since we are incapable. However, do understand that we are agents in bringing life to these peoples as we proclaim the redeeming gospel of the King. He will call His people to Himself. May we be actively involved in offering the gospel so His elect may respond in faith to the glory of His grace. Praise King Jesus this morning as you keep the hearts of millions on your mind who have yet to hear this glorious gospel. One day, the redeemed from every people group will gather before the throne of God and sing a new song to the Lamb who was slain. Eagerly anticipate this with joyful worship this morning. But when you pray, pray for the unreached and the unengaged. Let us not rob God of glory and the nations of joy by keeping the gospel to ourselves. Let every nation praise His glory and sing of His marvelous deeds!
