From the Hymnal: Hosanna!

This is a simple and soothing praise song that my heart needed tonight after a beautiful day of witnessing God’s might, mecy, glory, and grace in the majesty of the day and in the meakness of a humble 4 hour study and proclamation of His Word. Worshiping Him through teaching, study, and prayer was spiritually exhausting and this song renewed my spirit tonight as I lay in this bed winding down from a full and satisfying day in God. A simple cry from my heart to my Savior King, who I adore, tonight: Hosanna!

Hosanna

I see the King of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes
I see His love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing, the people sing

Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest

Hosanna, hosanna                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Hosanna in the highest

I see a generation
Rising up to take the place
With selfless faith, with selfless faith
I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We’re on our knees, we’re on our knees

Hosanna, hosanna                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Hosanna in the highest

Hosanna, hosanna                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Hosanna in the highest

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your Kingdom’s cause
As I walk from earth into eternity

Hosanna, hosanna                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Hosanna in the highest

Hosanna, hosanna                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Hosanna in the highest

Hosanna, hosanna                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Hosanna in the highest

Hosanna, hosanna                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Hosanna in the highest

 Hosanna in the highest
