From the Hymnal: All I Need Is You

Tonight I feel broken and humbled in the presence of the Father. As I began to lift up my prayers to the Father, I am only made even more aware of my utter dependence on Him. Truly, I need Him. It is at this point of humility and realization of my great need that His grace, love, and mercy become apparent. I am growing to realize that He is increasingly glorified with the decrease of myself. Also, I am finding that my joy is not full when I am increasing myself and depending on myself, but rather when I humbly depend and trust in God my Father is my joy truly full. I am satisfied when I rely on God and express my dependence on Him. As I reflect on my failures and disobedience in this day, I am humbled as I crawl to the feet of Jesus and cry out, “All I need is You, Lord!” These powerful lyrics are my heart’s cry tonight! Worship the King who is sufficient and worthy of our trust. May He receive glory as we receive joy!

Left my fear by the side of the road
Hear You speak
Won’t let go
Fall to my knees as I lift my hands to pray

Got every reason to be here again
Father’s love that draws me in
And all my eyes wanna see is a glimpse of You

All I need is You
All I need is You Lord
Is you Lord

One more day and it’s not the same
Your spirit calls my heart to sing
Drawn to the voice of my Saviour once again
Where would my soul be without Your Son
Gave His life to save the earth
Rest in the thought that You’re watching over me

All I need is You
All I need is You Lord
Is You Lord

You hold the universe
You hold everyone on earth
You hold the universe
You hold
You hold

All I need is You
All I need is You Lord
Is You Lord
