For those of you who pray nightly, be sure to remember the peoples of Somalia in your prayers tonight. Set aside a portion of your prayer time as a Christ-follower to focus on “the least of these” in this troubled nation. With the commitment to Islam being deeply rooted in the history of the peoples in this country, there must be intentional prayer dedicated for the liberation of these individuals who are blinded by the darkness of this religion. As you close your day in whatever part of the world you may be in, realize the spiritual poverty that these individuals live in and pray for the redemption of their souls and for workers to be sent into this Christ-deprived part of the world. May we take the message of Christ to them and as a result, a message of peace, love, joy, and salvation through this great suffering. Brothers and sisters, may we pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
