February Reading Plan

February 2012

While the new year is filled with many resolutions, February typically marks the end of the majority of these resolutions. I mean, let’s be honest, how many of us attempt to lose weight at the onset of the new year only to fall right back into our old eating habits? I know I am definitely guilty of this. There are also many Christians who decide to make their New Year’s resolution a Bible reading plan. They will be very dedicated for the first week and possibly even the first month, however, most will fall right back into the rush of daily life and neglect God by not reading or meditating on His Word. I pray that this description doesn’t fit you. I pray that you are eagerly entering February to continue your daily reading. There truly is nothing like the reading of God’s Word. If you want radical change to occur in your walk with Christ and your relationship with the Father, I would suggest no better way than to devote yourself to Him in prayer and meditation of His Word. If you are using this plan, I pray you will continue. If you have completely stopped reading or never even began, now is a great time to begin a daily reading of His Word. There is no better time than the present to start reading God’s Holy Word. Read and listen to the words of Jesus, for in them, there is eternal life! (John 6:63)

Mathew Gilbert
